All and sundry knows that now Olympics game are held in London basically it’s a huge session of games where athletes come from all around the world and play different games. Those players who are amazing in their job also get the medals for wonderful performance I’d like to say that people are also eager about it that’s why Olympics Stadiums also seem full with people. Including me there are many people who like to connect with these games just due their great interest in Olympics games and there are also many resources available for this purpose.
Now London Olympics is also continue with its all grace, but in 1948 Olympics was also held in London known as The 1948 Summer Olympics, officially known as the Games of the XIV Olympiad. According to my great interest in games today I am also going to share something about 1948 Summer Olympics, I have collected some amazing and wonderful photos of London 1948 Olympics. To present a real look I put all these photos in black and white form, these photos are also reflecting the wonderful impression.
50 km Walk
It’s a most memorable moment when men are going to start the 50 km walk and you can also see the excitement of them upon their faces.
In the above photo Gold medalist William Grut of Sweden is competing in the running component of the modern pentathlon.
She was amazing athlete and I’d like to say that she was once voted best female athlete of the 20th century. And in the image you can see her while running.
In 1948 you can see the Empire Stadium in Wembley and you can also see the symbol of the Olympics in the hands of athlete who is running in the ground.
French Athlete Disqualified
In London Olympics 1948 a French athlete named Louis Chevalier is disqualified during heat two of the 10K walk held at Wembley.
John Winter was also performing his activities in 1948, and you can also see him at winning the high jump event at the London Olympic Games, August 1948.
